Course Overview This seminar will be co-taught by professors Anton Schweizer and Gloria (Yu) Yang. It will cover the historical development of "man-made environment", that is architecture, site planning, garden art, landscaping, and urbanism, from the Asuka to the modern period.

Prerequisites : No prerequisites
Required Ability : Good English reading and speaking ability; basic Japanese reading.
