Course Overview On this course, students will become familiar with a wide range of English-language poets, including Paul Muldoon, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and W. H. Auden. Each week, using a selection of poems, we shall discuss issues such as love, war, and politics. We shall see how poets use specific techniques to create meaning, and consider how and why they write.
