Most bear inscriptions indicating that they were produced in either the Chinese coastal region of Ningbo (Zhejiang province) or the Goryeo kingdom. This lecture course focuses on selected works from Goryeo buddhist painting and provides an overview of their visual features in the East Asia through comparison with Chinese and Japanese examples .
