Course Overview In our lives environments are part of educational resources as exemplified in the proverb of "Three moves by Mencius' mother (孟母三遷). We choose our environments, and those environments we chose would change us accordingly. Such mutual constitutive relationships between our development and the environment throughout our lives are called "person-in-environment transactions." Various aspects of these transactions in the educational phenomenon as well as daily experiences are explored in this course. The basic nature of our surroundings are observed and interpreted from a general standpoint of person-in-environment transactions. Where are you, and who are you are interdependent questions in this perspective.
