| Course Overview |
Textbooks for beginners of psychotherapy usually describe each of major schools of psychoterapy separately, or else, describe only one school of psychotherapy exclusively. Anyway, one is usually tacitly expected to select one school of psychoterapy and study it exclusively. I want to challenge this presumption. The aim of this subject is to recognize common elements among every and all schools of psychoterapy, and to prepare to utilize strengths of each school of psychotherapy harmonically in the practice. Also, I am going to discuss about the aspect of psychothrapy as a performing art. And I will give you some experiential lessons on basic skills common for all psychotherpies. |
