Course Overview This lecture course focuses on Niigata Minamata Desease ,the starting point of pollution (environmental problem).Close analysis of the history , I will make it clear the pragmatic thinking of the environmental problem in Japan. At that time,I pay attention as follows, 1)Pollution and environmental problem are included in desaster in a broad sense.2)Protecting human life against polution or environmental problem as the thouget of victim's resistance ,3) Protecting community life as the thought of local history.And,this lecture treat as a environmental ploblems so called recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake ,
