Course Overview Prehistory of the Ryukyu archipelagos, because they consists of small islands and probably located periphery of East Asia and Japan, has not been paid much attention from these regions. However, if one understands island environment and consider prehistory of these areas in terms of islands and human beings, one will realize several rare cultural phenomena from these islands. The class will introduce these rare cultural phenomena.
