Course Overview |
James Joyce’s Ulysses is widely regarded as one of the greatest novels ever written in English. It is also extremely funny and obsessed with the little things of everyday life in Dublin, 1904. In this seminar, we will continue reading the novel from the last semester: we finished at episode 11. It is NOT necessary to have attended the earlier seminar. New students are very welcome. In Week I, we will summarize episodes 1-10. We will read four chapter in the spring semester, and the last four in the autumn semester. |
