Course Overview |
The development of technologies related to human life has been surpassing our traditional understanding of ethics. It is commonly applied to three main areas; birth, death, and gene, i.e. In Vitro Fertilization – Embryo Transfer, Brain Death and Organ Transplantation, and Genetic Manipulation. These can be collectively called technology which controls life itself. In this lecture, we are going to discuss what kind of ethical conflict could be created by glife creating technologyh which is used today in infertility treatment, that is advanced reproductive technologies including In Vitro Fertilization – Embryo Transfer when the following perspectives are considered: @High Infertility Treatment and Gender, AArtificial Insemination (AI) and In Vitro Fertilization|Embryo Transfer (IVF-ET), B Artificial Insemination with Donores semen (AID), C Egg Donation, DSurrogacy, E Selection of LifeiPrenatal diagnosis and Artificial abortionj |
