Course Overview The psychopathology has several historical origins and has occupied the major domain of psychiatry and clinical psychology as follows: (1) traditional German psychiatry that describes precisely symptoms of mental illness, (2) psychometric evaluation employing dimensional measures, (3) psychoanalysis and humanistic psychopathology that inspect inner side of abnormal psychopathology, and (4) philosophy of psychiatry that is linked with phenomenology or ethical/philosophical issues on the relationship between human and neuroscience. This lecture aims to focus on multiple aspects of the deviation of human psychology as well as the boundary between normality and abnormality of human mind in the current context of the modern age.
