| Course Overview |
This is a course of basic statistical analysis. We classify specific topics into two categories: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The first category, descriptive statistics, includes frequency distribution, cross tabulation, histogram, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, and linear regression analysis. The second category, inferential statistics, includes probability distribution, normal distribution, random sampling, and statistical inference. The data analysis per se requires spreadsheet software such as Excel. |
