Course Overview The aims of this course is to help students acquire an ability of historical and critical consideration and researches of education. This term deals with the vocational for middle class girls and women in mid-Victorian Europe. We would consider and discuss about the historical context and meaning of the life and work for the middle class women in 19th century Europe, when they were thought to be ‘Angel in the House’ and not to do paid work.
