Course Overview The aim of this course is to help students acquire an ability of historical and critical consideration and research of education. This term deals with new flourishing phenomenon of children’s literature, and its historical meaning for education c. 1760-1845.
We would consider and discuss the historical context and meaning of the new genre, children’s books and their role for the education of children, the amalgam of modern public school and modern child-centered family.
