Introduction to Modern British and Irish Culture Using a key literary text as the basis, on this course students will gain an extensive knowledge of modern British and Irish culture. We will use the literary text in order to investigate issues of language, religion, politics, and society, exploring the complex history of the relationship between countries, as well as the relationship between individual and community. This class will prioritize creative rather than analytical responses. |
