Course Overview This class examines diary of YABE Teiji who was an assistant professor and professor of the Imperial University of Tokyo Faculty of Law for the wartime. Yabe was a political scientist, and he took part in real politics through the Showa Kenkyu-kai and as the brains of KONOYE Fumimaro. The purpose of this class is clarifying the situation in the wartime Japan by picking up information (not only political information) from “Diary of YABE Teiji” and comparing with other materials.
