Course Overview This course provides an in-depth examination of specific aspects of the Mongol Empire. Attention will be paid to the institution and picture of promulgation of edicts and information. The course also occasionally touches on relevant topics in utilities of the stone inscriptions and official documents, and relations between Mongol rulers and local societies in Northern China.
