| Course Overview |
We shall study here some French short stories, by distinguishing this genre of that of the fairy tale and by analyzing its structure, including in particular a fall at the end. We shall also see its diverse possible orientations: fantasy, realist, policeman … We shall evoke at first the first modern short stories in the XIXth century, as those from Maupassant. We shall read then extracts of short stories of the XXth century, with authors as Didier Daeninckx, Georges Simenon or Annie Saumont. |
