Course Overview In theoretical linguistics (especially in generative grammar), human language is based on our innate knowledge of language in our mind/brain. In cognitive neuroscience, neural bases of higher brain functions including language have been examined through physiological and psychological experiments.
In this intensive course, I would like to introduce recent findings in the neurobiology of language, and I would also like to discuss the significance of "integrating" theoretical and experimental studies.
