Course Overview |
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of dialectology and sociolinguistics, and then study the diversity and language change of Japanese dialects, especially the variations of Kyushu dialects. Although many studies on Kyushu dialects have been done so far, you will learn how they are, how they have changed and how they have been maintained. |
