Course Overview

This class aims to improve students' listening, reading, and writing skills in English with the textbook including DVD. The textbook of this class is 'English in 30 Seconds (Nan'un-do Publishing),' which contains visual materials from award-winning TV commercials at Cannes Lions. Students can improve their listening, reading, and writing skills through viewing the attached DVD as well as writing exercises. Through thinking about what messages are included in each CM, students can also deepen their abilities to read between the lines. This class will include the following activities: 1) preview of the textbook, 2) submission of English compositions, 3) working on the exercises (reading and listening, etc.), 4) translation into Japanese.
