This lecture course focuses on selected works by Cervantes, Wieland, Goethe, Stendhal, Maupassant, Thomas Mann, Soseki Natsume, Saneatsu Mushano, Haruki Murakami in order to provide an overview of the basic perspectives and concepts of live and reading in modern European and Japanese literature. |
