| Course Overview |
This class aims to improve students' listening, reading, and writing skills in English with the textbook with DVD. The textbook of this class is 'Inside Science (Kinseido),' which contains the visual materials from Inside Science, a reliable online news site. Students can improve their listening, reading, and writing skills through viewing attached DVD as well as writing exercise. This textbook contains various topics related to universe, astronomy, meteorology, artificial intelligence and so forth. Students can also develop their thinking against the topics listed above through learning English. This class will include following activities: 1) preview of the textbook and news articles, 2) submission of the English composition, 3) working on the exercises (reading and listening), 4) translation into Japanese. |
