Course Overview "Norms and Perception"
This course is a continuation of the lectures given in the previous semester.
In this semester, we will further examine the integrated structure of perception and action based on "norms," mainly taking the McDowell-Dreyfus Debate as a starting point. In this context, the issue of "potentiality to be conceptually articulated" will emerge as an important point of contention, which will be discussed with particular reference to Watsuji Tetsuro's argument.
