Course Overview	The theme is "Koryo Pottery" as seen from archaeology. The characteristics of medieval East Asia as seen through the archaeological analysis of Koryo Pottery will be discussed. The presentation will cover the state of research in Japan and Korea, and aspects of the Koryo period and medieval Japan as seen in terms of production and consumption.
