Course Overview The aim of this course is to help students acquire an ability of historical and critical consideration and research of education. This term deals with continuity and change of domestic femininities and housewifehood in interwar Britain. We would consider and discuss the historical context and meaning of female identity and their struggle in the early 20th century concerning the women’s role and class consciousness through the popular magazine to housewives.
