Course Overview

The development of the Internet has flooded us with information. What is the current state of journalism, centered on newspapers? Reporters from the Asahi Shimbun and former reporters who have covered and written in various departments will explain the role and function of journalism and the state of mass communication from their own perspectives. By also showing how to report and convey information digitally and on broadcast, we will highlight the characteristics of each media. Through classes, students learn the grammar to read and understand the daily news.
