For Students: Introduction to Japanese Studies

The Graduate School of Humanities will hold class "Introduction to Japanese Studies" in English, at 2nd semester.

Fourteen faculty members from various departments at Kyushu University offer fifteen lectures related to three themes:

1) history and culture of premodern Japan

2) Japan's modernization and its social consequences

3) lessons and experiences of "modern development."

This course is registered to the JICA Development Studies Program.

- Online class (video lecture)

- Mainly for graduate students, but undergrads are also welcome for auditing.

- Open for both International and Japanese students.
