"Creative Writing: Short Stories* Overview The class will give students a chance to work on their English reading, writing, and self-expression skills. They will read and write short stories in English, and share what they have written in class. No special background is required – complete beginners are welcome. Class time will be used to read and discuss English stories. We will do some in-class writing as well. Goals 1) To help students learn to appreciate short stories in English 2) To help students learn to write short stories in English 3) To develop creative use of English in a relaxed, fun setting. 4) To give students a chance to express their thoughts and feelings in writing. |
