Course Overview In this lecture, we will explain the processes that give rise to various interpersonal behaviors, referring to research findings in social psychology on interpersonal behavior. Specifically, topics such as communicative behavior, helping behavior, surcial support, aggressive behavior, exclusionary behavior, and bargaining behavior will be covered. We will then explain the mechanism of occurrence of interpersonal behaviors from the perspective of group dynamics, in which factors of an individual's personality and the characteristics of the situation and environment surrounding him or her interact to cause the behaviors. This class will be then carried on discussing together how to promote or suppress each interpersonal behavior.
