Course Overview 対面とオンデマンド型授業 This course will provide an overview of Japanese history from its origins to the twelfth century and demonstrate how ancient history is still relevant today. In addition, students will be introduced to Western scholarship on Japanese history and to a wide range of foreign-language resources. Each session will consist of a brief recorded lecture, a number of instructor-led assignments, and short research projects.

The course will be held from August 25 until August 29
In person on August 25 (1st and 2nd period), August 28 (1st, 2nd and 3rd period), and August 29 (1st, 2nd and 3rd period) (room B105)
