| Course Overview |
We will study several extracts from childhood narratives from the 19tj and 20th century. We will thus study how autobiographical speech relates these fouding experiences of childhood and adolescence. We will analyze the role of family and the part played by History in these narratives. We will study texts by Georges Perec, Annie Ernaux or Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt but also a brief novel from Modiano, Remise de peine, a supplement to the 1st semester. |
