Understanding argumentative texts in French speaking literature and the written press – This class aims to develop methods for the textual analysis. We will underline the critical aspects of a literary or a journalistic text written in French. To do so, we will study not only poems, extracts from narratives, theatre plays, but also newspaper articles, caricatures and press illustrations. |
