Post-war poetry – The class aims to give a panorama of the French speaking poetry post 1945. This period is less known by students, even if the period from post-war to nowadays gathers rich experiences and diversity. We will study poems in which the renewal of forms is perceptible. Allowing us to question the meaning and the power of language, some writers have given different perspectives to the post-war poetry. The following generations will also be studied, through the most recent poetical creations. |
