Course Overview

Ecopoetics and geopoetics: texts and criticism – This class aims to develop the definitions of the words “ecopoetics” and “geopoetics” that have been created simultaneously in two different contexts, American and European. This new kind of literary criticism is interesting regarding several aspects: political criticism, a new eco-logy, but also the presence of geographical elements in literature and the question of the form/the medium.
